Compass Capital Corporation's primary business is the acquisition, financing, management and remarketing of major capital assets subject to lease, including commercial aircraft, railroad equipment, warehousing and distribution facilities, marine vessels and other long-lived capital assets.

Compass has in-house resources experienced in all facets of the operating lease business, including the financial, legal, technical and remarketing aspects, and has completed equipment transactions with a combined total original equipment cost in excess of $3,000,000,000. Compass has purchased, managed, or remarketed over 4,000 railroad freight cars, 140 commercial aircraft and 25 aircraft engines, including both jet and turboprop equipment. Compass owns and manages, on behalf of institutional investors, a portfolio of wide- and narrow-body commercial jet aircraft and aircraft engines on lease to major airlines in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.

Compass owns a portfolio of railroad rolling stock (including covered hopper cars, tank cars, boxcars, flat cars, coal hoppers, woodchip gondolas and log cars), which are leased to railroads and industrial users. Compass also owns and manages container ships, interests in power generating facilities, and commercial and industrial real estate. Compass advises institutional investors on the placement, management and remarketing of leased investments and arranges lease financings on behalf of selected clients.

Compass is a member of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT).
